To the liberal left, those are fighting words that must be silenced by any means, even if it means destroying Bannon with lies and fabrications
Steve Bannon has been Trumps right-hand man, and ever since that elevation the former head of Breitbart has been under constant attack. According to the liberal left Democrats, Bannon is a Nazi, a bigot, and an extreme right-wing crazy.
The reality is, hes a staunch conservative; therefore, the liberal left is completely out of their mind over the guy. Their reaction tells me that Bannons likely nothing like what they scream he is.
I have a saying when it comes to my dealings with the liberal left. If I am not pissing them off, I am doing something wrong.
If you were made by the press, then the Press can destroy you.. It seems to me that Bannon is is own creation, so unfazed by the media, maybe?
According to the liberal left Democrats, Bannon is a Nazi, a bigot, and an extreme right-wing crazy.
So are all of us deplorables, according to them :)
I think that saying applies to those working within the MSM. The press now, however, includes non MSM outlets and so it does not apply to those in the non MSM press. That being said they too are probably ham stringed to adhere to the powers that be within their organizations, though perhaps not as blatantly so.
Nothing Limbaugh says anymore has any validity. He is all sound and fury signifying nothing.
As Mark Levin might say “He’s one of the pom pom girls.”
RUSH is way past his prime forsure.
But who cares what the never trumper Levine has to say.
If we had listened to him we would have had HRC for President right now with multiple Supreme Court apointments to make.
Don't like him, don't listen or watch.
No problem and Rush won't miss you, in fact, he wont even know you're gone, let the other 24M happily continue to listen!
Rush only said that Trump, like Brannon, even Rush himself, weren't made by the media, therefore, they can't destroy him (them!)
Liberals have and will continue to go after each and everyone of significance in Trump's circle, to take them out, like Mike Flynn, even sidelining Sessions.
The tried rolling Kellyanne but she's too smart for them; next, they thought they had Bannon on the ropes after the "leaks" about he and Kushner, which went nowhere but Brannon is and continues to be, his own man and lots more solid than the vapid liberals gave him credit for!
Rush was anti-Trump forever then he all of a sudden acted like he supported him from the beginning, many of us stopped listening to him over this.
Mark Levin is a cuckservative who betrayed America during the 2016 campaign for 30 pieces of silver. When it was time to stand up and fight Levin fought for the other side. Levin is to be disparaged, insulted, and dismissed.
As far as I am concerned, anything they attack Bannon with also applies to nearly every Freeper, excepting the FR cuckservatives of course.
Bannon is brilliant...the President needs to get him one of these though...
Rush:
First, anti-Trump as in “bought the left’s Koolaid.”
Second—listened to his fans, looked more at flyover country, got “religion”.
IT’S CALLED ‘FLEXABLE’ AND ABLE TO THINK. (It’s Hard, I know.)
“The Democrats hate Bannon because he is something that they fear and loathe even more than any tyrant in history. Hes a Christian Conservative, and in their opinion, that is the greatest thing to fear because people like that might be able to upend their Marxist narrative.”
Not quite, but a typical guess, not too far off.
Bannon is hated for the same reason as Rush, in that HE UNDERSTANDS THE LEFT. The left cannot fool him (as they do with most Republicans) into believing that they too want what’s best for America, only that their way is a bit misguided...but they can be brought around to understanding the right way, and thus we can all live happily together.
And in case any of you FReepers think the same as most Republicans (i.e., clueless about the left), simply ask yourselves how ANY political entity could be looking out for their country’s best interests when they are, at the same time, FLOODING their country with people they KNOW will take up arms and engage in an incredibly bloody civil war, as in Europe...and as they want to do here. Hillary was open about opening the floodgates and the Leftists on the courts continue to stop Trump from trying to stop the flood.
So, having Bannon in the White House is basically the same as having Rush there...and as long as Bannon is there, Trump will be safe and will continue to pursue the most conservative agenda this country has ever seen.
“Rush was anti-Trump forever then he all of a sudden acted like he supported him from the beginning, many of us stopped listening to him over this.”
The only time Rush was anti-Trump was when Trump was in combat against Cruz...Rush clearly favored Cruz. Before that, he was even-handed. After that, he was ALL FOR TRUMP, and still is. Some of us would like you guys to point out where Rush went anti-Trump, other than for that month or so. For example, when did Rush support Hillary, or even support ANYTHING that would help Hillary win? But I point you to Cruz’s convention speech if you want to know how Cruz tried to help Hillary (and yes, that was after Trump was clearly the nominee).
You guys may want to listen to his show once in while again. You’ve already missed a year of non-stop pro-Trump support...and again, please find me an exception to that if you disagree (other than maybe on DACA or something similar, where Trump turned left).
Rush was NEVER anti-Trump.
He discussed all the candidates, but it was obvious all along his heart was with Trump, whom he recognized as a fellow entertainer.
you too are funny, i’ve listened to Rush for over 20 years almost daily.
Go back and read the threads leading up to the convention and before when he secured the nomination.
“Go back and read the threads leading up to the convention and before when he secured the nomination.”
I conceded that, since it was true...Rush was either on Cruz’s side or just anti-Trump - during that time period. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT after...and to this day.
“He discussed all the candidates, but it was obvious all along his heart was with Trump, whom he recognized as a fellow entertainer.”
Maybe not hard-core anti-Trump, but he certainly preferred Cruz over Trump for the short time when Trump was demeaning Cruz. But he did quickly correct himself.
I agree.
Rush is in the same liminal space most conservatives ended up in - the GOP turned out to be, almost to the last person - statists.
Trump comes along, and like the rest of us, we wondered if he meant what he was saying.
From what I’ve been able to see, I think everyone underestimated what Bannon tried to warn Trump and the rest of us about - that the swamp would fight back with everything.
We found out after the election that the swamp had an aisle running down the middle of it.
Trump is trying to get one side of the swamp to kill off the other side of the swamp. Very tall order.
