Agreed. Most that will happen is that it will go back to the states.
Thomas is 68. He’s got another 12-15 years on the bench. And you will never get someone confirmed as a rock solid constitutional as him. I’d rather stick with Thomas for 10-15 years then roll the dice on a Roberts, or worse, a Souter, who would give us 30 years of pain.
