Black people killing Black people, and the politicians doing nothing because they can’t blame any Whites.
So they can turn red states blue.
That's the EXACT reason why blacks are leaving the Chicago area. And they may be aware of the financial situation of Cook County itself, a situation that could cause the entire state of Illinois to go into receivership (the British English term for bankruptcy) and all the mess that could create.
I feel for Chicago blacks. They are fleeing so that they can keep their families out of a bad situation. However, it has downsides to the neighborhoods they flee to. Let’s just say that blacks from Chicago are not going to elevate the new neighborhood’s property values, education levels, income levels, safety levels, and the quality of life levels.
I met a very nice black lady who moved more than a thousand miles to get away from the Ferguson, MO area. She swears that she will never go back. I cannot say that I blame her.
Maybe there are some black people who don't want to participate in this type of racist thinking any more than most white people do.

With the city of Chicago shrinking in general, the loss of its black citizenship is worrying. How can Chicago be a world class, multicultural, dieverse city without the vibrance lent by its blak gentlemens and ladys?
The areas in LA which were the sites of the riots: Watts, South Central, are no longer black-centric since Mexicans and Latinos have moved in to displace them. The areas are experiencing new revivals recently.
But where did the Black People gooo?!?!?
Interesting that at the end of the article, it speaks about gentrification fears if middle class blacks continue to exit out. I don’t think Chicago has any legitimate fears of developers re-developing Chicago. With the absolute nightmare that Chicago and Illinois have economically become, who in their right mind would sink money into that bureaucratic and corrupt swamp...
Job done. Only each other to prey on so it’s time to spread the ‘cultcha’ elsewhere.
