I know MANY otherwise law abiding Californians that travel with loaded weapons.
If used in an otherwise lawful fashion, it would be hard to get a jury to convict you on a weapons charge if you used it to protect your life.
But you have to be able to afford your own lawyer and not accept any plea bargains. Because the Public Defender will sell you down the river.
