Maybe its just me but this attitude that the public must immediately comply with ANY order from police or risk death is wrong. You are talking police state.Too many itchy trigger fingers with many, many police totally unqualified to deal with the public in a professional manner. I don’t know what the answer is. I agree with Tommy this man should have NEVER been a cop. Do you agree? If so tell me how he got past all the checks most police academy’s have in place to find people who are not qualified for the job?

ANY (ANY?!) order? Sigh... does it really need to be said on this board, that we’re talking about REASONABLE orders? And since you brought it up, can you give an example - that you’ve heard of, or experienced - where the civilian should NOT have complied?
