Bernie Marcus, co-founder of Home Depot, says Wednesday’s shooting of House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, officers, and others at a congressional baseball practice makes him “so worried about the life of the President of the United States.”
In an interview on the Fox Business Network Wednesday, Marcus said “I wish that the president would sit down with the leadership of the Democratic Party and say guys, let’s cut it out. Let’s get together and let’s start working together and accomplish what has to be accomplished.”
James T. Hodgkinson of Illinois fired dozens of rounds at some 45 Republican members of Congress during a baseball practice Wednesday morning in Alexandria, Virginia. Rep. Steve Scalise (R-AL) was shot in the hip but has undergone surgery for his wound and is now stable. Scalise’s Capitol Hill Police officer detail shot Hodgkinson, who later died of his injuries.
Hodgkinson’s social media accounts, however, were apparently filled with posts indicating his hatred for President Donald Trump and Republican lawmakers.....

I would suggest that he first sits down with the leadership of the Republican Party and says that to them.
Just go for the jugular in 2018. It’s doable-expecially in the Senate. THEN they can be friends.
The Democrats and their supporters do not want to be civil or work together. They just want that power back however they can get it.

I don’t have to be The Great Karnak to predict that there will be an attempted assassination of President Trump before the end of the year. There is so much hatred being ginned up by the Democrats and their allies that someone will try to become a DNC martyr.
And there are rumblings that he had had correspondence with the Rachel Maddow Show, if not directly with Maddow herself. Yet we keep hearing ALWAYS, that it is BOTH SIDES THAT NEED TO TONE DOWN THE RHETORIC! REALLY, MS PELOSI??? Who came out, just today, excoriating Republicans for ‘blaming Democrats’ for the shootings yesterday.
I think Trump should give a major speech and call for an end to this violence. Many people are sick of these mob attacks by thugs, the privileged brats rioting and making the streets impassible, etc. It would also give some much-needed support to the few responsible people who are still among the left.
Trump should take the initiative.
According to Jerome Corsi, either the DEEP STATE will be successful in impeaching Trump on fake charges or attempt an assassination. President Trump needs to announce that he is fighting back by:
1) Announcing the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Loretta Lynch’s Obstruction of Justice concerning the Clinton email scandal
2) Opening all government files and appointing a special investigator to investigate the JFK assassination....
that power has to be denied to them. They can’t be allowed to profit from their awful behavior.

Ive been worrying about President Trump and his family’s safety since the beginning. Everyday when I wake up and turn on the TV I wonder if that will be the day that I hear that the President or a member of his family/Administration has been shot..and I know if it does happen the media will be right there, giving thumbs up because its what they want..BADLY. I know Obama got death threats, ALL Presidents do, but Ive never seen it like this..and usually you just see the typical loons on twitter threatening the President, idiots behind their computer screen who have NO life, nothing better to do..now you are seeing it on TV, from celebrities, from media people, calling for the President’s death..welcome to the new America, its truly scary

Mr. Marcus points out that Mr. Trump has unleashed the animal spirits of American investors, consumers and businesses. Consumer confidence is at a 10-year high. The stock market is up 10 percent since his election. And major manufacturing companies are responding by choosing to invest at home rather than abroad. Can we say that about any recent presidents?
