That's the problem with our celebrity-worshiping culture. People can't distinguish between the benevolent public personae of celebrities and the reality. How many jurors are sitting there thinking "Who could ever convict a good guy like Dr. Huxtable[or whatever his name was]"?
When I read the note from the jury calling him “Mr. C” I thought, “he’s about to walk.”
