I have the same Tacoma. Quad cab with 5’ bed. It’s a company car so I can’t really beat it up, nor can I pull a trailer.

But it’s sure nice having a truck, even a small one.

We have an older minivan and are rapidly hitting the empty nest deal. I want to get my wife a new car and can’t decide what. Do we want a small SUV, or a car?

I’m leaning towards a Dodge Charger. Haven’t broached that subject with her yet. We have a utility trailer for towing kayaks etc and have a couple trailer hitch bike racks.

Quad cab is the way to go for me. I carry computers and higher end camera equipment.

The bed stores a few containers of tools and it stays covered and locked.

I am done with buying new vehicles. My project jeeps and blazer are in varying states of completion.

I like the Challenger though.
