My sister who got partially drawn into this green, we are stewards of the earth crap argues with me that we should be made to recycle everything even when I show her studies that show it costs more in many cases to do so and does more damage to the environment, using her own logic, still she argues.
Finally I said look if you want to recycle, fly too it, that is your business and your choice, but accord me the same choice. If you can force me to recycle for your green agenda what else can you come up for my own good can you force me to do??? Do I have to drive cars you approve of? Do I have to have a certain number of children to save the earth? Do I have to install solar panels when they are prohibitively costly and I will never recoup my initial outlay? Where does your do-gooder crap end?

Now he is a successful doctor and she a nurse and they just sold a practice for over $50 million dollars and have raised hell about the taxes they had to pay. I reminded them of our conversation and neither will admit to remembering much of it. Needless to say they are big Trump supporters. That first paycheck with taxes removed helps change a lot of minds!
