ZANESVILLE, Ohio- One business is bringing 100 new jobs to Zanesville.
Cable company Charter Communications announced that they will be hiring 100 new employees at their Spectrum call center on Northpointe Drive, formerly known as Time Warner Cable.
When you hear of a call center you usually hear of a big city, said Mike Hogan, Charter Communications spokesman. I think its great for Zanesville because we are committed to bringing jobs to a smaller community. We have a great facility here, a great work force and I think its our commitment to this area.
The call center currently has 430 employees and is the only 24/7 center in the Midwest, with a focus on billing inquiries.
This is primarily a billing center and it serves customers in the Northeast and Southeast of the United States and the Midwest. With the Charter brand we are focusing on expertise so this will be a call center for billing, said Hogan.
The Spectrum call center is the second largest employer in Zanesville, following behind the Genesis Healthcare System.
For employment opportunities or more information, potential candidates can apply online at https://jobs.spectrum.com or by attending their open interview sessions on Wednesday at 3940 Northpointe Drive.
Great, more unsolicited calls to my cell phone.
Here in CA, Spectrum’s call center is automated and worthless.
That’s been illegal for decades. Do what I do and sue them. I average $1,400 each time.
They better hire better people than they have now...I received a call yesterday from Spectrum (it was on caller ID)...
The girl wanted to tell me about new services and channels...
Because I don’t speak Ebonics, I couldn’t understand half of what she was saying....
The other half, I couldn’t hear because of the kids screaming in the background....
Who do you use?
Thanks, I get calls almost every day, sometimes they will leave a message, which I still have in my phone...
.
Show me how to sue someone offshore.
