Duffie and the City of Lincoln reached a settlement, with Duffie receiving $160,000. That is atrocious! He should have gotten a MINIMUM of a MILLION DOLLARS!.

Now, we talking those ‘cops’ being personally responsible for the fees/court costs/etc., then I say the sky’s the limit.
Like anything else in life, once one is personally writing the check(s), one cares about cost/quality/acts/etc.

Maybe not. This was against the city of Lincoln. It seems to me that the cops are PERSONALLY liable under Title 42, Section 1983, for violating the Pastor’s rights under color of authority. Sky’s the limit.
