We are in the midst of a college hoax epidemic, and it shows no signs of getting any better. Just last week at St. Olaf College, a racist note placed on a black students car was revealed as a hoax, written by someone who wanted to draw attention to concerns about the campus climate. At USC last month, someone hung a no black people allowed sign outside of a residence hall; the fellow who hung this reputable message turned out to be
a black person himself. At Indiana State University ....

HOAX!
Fake Hate Crime List.
More activity from the black lies matter gang.
Paging Rose Nylund...
I dismiss all hates crimes. 99% of them are hoaxes, and I have no time to worry overmuch about the remaining 1%.
Almost all the hate is from the other side. They should look to themselves and end their hypocrisy.
Many thanks for that link.
When the Left finds they cannot be Liberal Martyrs, they will manufacture hoaxes and lie in order to achieve their sainthood.
"Hate Crimes" serve several purposes in their playbook:
- allows them to be portrayed as innocent victims rather than as the aggressors themselves
- allows them to demonize their opponents and to go on the offensive
- it gives them incredible amounts of sympathetic media coverage
My response to these is, whenever possible, to post something to the effect on sites that are read by college students (or general newspaper sites):
“While there was no attack this time, this claim was done to bring awareness of the ABJECT RACISM of the people that support Trump, and since we’re now discussing it here, I’ll have to say it was successful.”
That usually fires up the conservatives and even some of the left-leaning students. People don’t like guilt by association in the first place, but when you’re accused of associating with something that doesn’t exist, that’s even worse.
And sometimes it’s more than just a flyer or something spray-painting, often people are falsely arrested...and that really riles them - the idea that this (fake) leftist is defending the false arrest of an innocent person is probably even hard for liberals to swallow, much less anyone to the right of them.
Basically what I like to do is post what the left discusses behind closed doors, for only when our side starts to try to understand these people, can we have any hope of fighting them successfully.
despite the fact that the overwhelming majority of “hate crimes” turnout to be hoaxes, the media run with them every single time without hesitation, solely because it fits their narrative. Never once have any media outlet apologize for spreading the hoaxes.
Expel any and all students perpetrating a hoax, and call their student loans for immediate repayment.
Jail those who don’t cough-up the cash.
I’d suggest you include it in your ping message for ongoing edification of passers-by.
My town had a Hijab grab report that briefly made some of the fringes of the national news 2-3 months ago. A couple weeks later I had discussion about it with one of the ranking officers on our P.D. Without getting into the details, I’m convinced it was a false report. Of course, that will never make the news.
You see, Ive always wanted a tiara. Ever since I was a little girl back in St. Olaf. I mean, every year Id blow out my birthday candles and wish for one. And every year, Id get a freshly carved pair of wooden shoes. Except for one year, during the Depression when I just got a block of coal, which I carved into a pair of high-top Keds.
Yes - that is a key point.
The black minister who burned down his own church and tried to blame it on white conservatives isn’t a ‘college kid’ and this stuff isn’t ‘pranks’.
It’s similar to when the Germans would blame things on Jews to turn people against Jews. That’s what’s really happening.
