Vincenzo Vinciguerra, who was involved in the operation and is serving a life sentence for murder, stated that Gladio was designed to psychologically coerce the Italian public to rely on the state for security a textbook false flag.

The Democrats also know if you tell a lie often enough, a good number of people will believe it as truth (e.g. The Russian/ Trump collusion.
I don’t think that something that happens 26 years later than another happening can be considered “a direct result” pf the earlier event, any more than a traffic accident can be considered “a direct result” of a driver’s license obtained 26 years earlier. Regimes change all the time in ME countries.

The 1979 Iranian mullahocracy was a direct result of Jimmy Carter nodding like a moron while talking to the Ayatollah and agreeing to overthrow the Shah based on nothing other than the “promise” to hold elections.
Carter toppled the Shah.
