Unless a newsmaker is on a public street, it's journalistic protocol to set up the time and place for interviews in advance which is what Fox News did. I would have counseled a journalist for barging in and interrupting another news entity's prearranged interview. That's when you patiently wait your turn as the candidate requested.
Ben Jacobs rudely violated journalist protocols, interrupted and violated the space of another news organization's prearranged time with a congressional candidate, all because HE wanted that candidate to drop everything and address HIM.

However, Alicia Acuna, needing her 15 minutes of fame, was happy to have this twerp barge in ahead of Fox’s pre-arranged interview and could then give her hyperventilating account of his “beating.” So it was good for her and the Democrats, and that’s all that matters to Mz. Acuna.

I agree, if any Republicans have a spine they will refuse all contact with Acuna. She can go and do local weather reports.
Reminds me of when Trump kicked Mexi-Smurf Jorge Ramos out of a press conference for extreme rude and obnoxious behavior and Ramos went around crying he got kicked out for merely asking a question.
Two issues:
Just because we may not think our candidate is perfect. It does not mean we want to vote for the democrat. The press has played the game of slamming our candidates in hope that we will vote for theirs. But we are not marring this guy. He’s not our roommate. He just has to vote the right way when he gets to DC.
Issue two: What is the Guardian (even the US unite of the Guardian) doing in Montana. Clearly the left wing is supporting and using this vehicle as a political weapon against conservatives. We have CNN, MSNBC, WP, NYT for that. Now we have to deal with these guys too.
