I remember the stroller murder. But, I remember many more car theft and car jack stories where a kid is asleep in the back seat, and the perps drop the kid off. I guess it’s the difference between the semi-professionals interested in the theft while keeping the legal consequences non-capital and the maniacs who smash any inconvenience.

Her crime is Child Neglect for leaving a child in a car any where at any time. I’d not even leave a 16 yr old in a car alone at any time. My grandson goes into the store with me and he’s 16.

And I’m the mother of a murdered 16 yr old. He was coming home from HS, ambushed less than a block from home and beaten with a 2 ft fence post by a SOCIOPATH for the jollies of it, I was picking up his 6 yr old brother from first grade, we only had 1 car, I walked the 6 yr old to and from school every day there was school until he started Jr High. Then I made him walk in a group.
