Over the past week or so, with the White House rocked by bombshell report after bombshell report, Fox News host Sean Hannity has ramped up his pro-Trump coverage. Last night, he called on supporters of the president to “fight back” against anti-Trump forces, namely the mainstream media and Democrats.
During an appearance on America’s Newsroom, Fox News contributor Bernie Goldberg explained that while he thinks Hannity is right on many things, overall, it is essentially sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Noting that Hannity is correct that media would like nothing better than to bring President Trump down, there’s “crazies on the left” who think Trump’s as bad as Hitler, and Democrats are obstructionists, he wondered aloud what Hannity could actually do.
“What are you going to do about it?” Goldberg asked. “What do Trump’s most loyal allies want to do about it? We’re not going to repeal the First Amendment because Donald Trump thinks The New York Times and others engage in fake news.”
He continued, “My point is that ranting goes only so far. And on cable TV it serves a purpose. It riles the base. But it doesn’t get a lot accomplished.”
Goldberg further added that Trump “brings a lot of this heat on himself” as he’s not exactly “Mother Teresa.”

Hannity is has been a rock through all this, cutting right to the heart of it all.
Regardless of what you think of his style, he’s been unwavering.

Bernie Goldberg despises Trump. When he’s on an anti-Trump rant — and his rants all are anti-Trump rants — he practically hyperventilates. He actually spews spittle from his lying mouth at times when discussing Trump. I hate that crapweasel. (Another reason we stopped watching FNC: Goldberg’s guest appearances.)
Bernie is nothing without Bill O. On another note, when Fox lost or fired it’s hosts it did not consider the downstream effects of losing a place for those who regularly appeared on those shows and those shows only.
What it WILL take is a million INFORMED and ANGRY VOTERS in each congressional district going to GOP PRECINCT MEETINGS and on to state conventions selecting and ELECTING more citizens who are NOT the Doug Neidermeyers of world to Congress. Then going to their town hall meetings and watching them like the proverbial hawk!

Bernie’s been whining about Trump and those who defend him for quite a while now. I was really hoping that when O’Reilly went out we wouldn’t be cursed with Goldberg’s musings any longer. The First Amendment crack is so leftist too. Hannity’s been a big defender of the First Amendment and has taken on those attacking it. Goldberg apparently just wants us to sit passively while the left attempts to take out our president in a soft coup.

Actually listening to a Patriotic Pro-Trumper like Hannity can be quite therapeutic in today’s climate.
I used to like Bernie. He did a good job of pointing out media bias. Now he’s just a foaming-at-the-mouth Never-Trumper.
