Stop Eventbrite from fueling the new wave of hate groups!

Eventbrite ... has a hate group problem. Eventbrite is ... selling tickets to events ... featuring enablers of white supremacy like Milo Yiannopoulos and Richard Spencer.

Just this past Saturday, white nationalists hosted a sold-out gala featuring some of the biggest names in the white nationalist movement. ... The event page hosted by Eventbrite even contained a cartoon image of Trump making a hand gesture that is increasingly being used as a white supremacist symbol.

... Eventbrite continues to fail to take action that ensures their platform is not used to spread and fund hate ...

they create tangible dangers for our people. These hate groups and their leaders are not just shock-jock provocateurs looking to get a rise out of people by ‘offending’ them; they are actively painting a target on the backs of our communities and teaching their audiences how to harass vulnerable people.

... these groups are using the money raised off of Eventbrite to indoctrinate people into their hateful ideologies, spread propaganda that promotes damaging lies about marginalized groups and even to train and deploy an army of white nationalist that travel around the country to harass people of color. And in the case of Gavin McInnes, one of Saturday’s featured speakers, to organize an “alt-right” paramilitary group whose goal is to physically assault people protesting against Trump and the far-right.1 Groups like McInnes’ are clearly meant to intimidate and harm people of color...

Eventbrite needs to make sure its platform is not ... a megaphone to stir up racial fear and push damaging falsehoods and distortions about Black communities.

Demand Eventbrite permanently cut white supremacists off from their platform!

Gavin McInnes? OMG a platform for a convert from atheism to Catholicism (that's worse than white supremacy) and libertarian comedian and dares to support Israel and yet make jokes about Jews and jokes about women and jokes about men, but that's last one is OK. The essence of comedy is to play on hypocrisy and Color of Change can't allow any of that in the public square.

How do people like this even live with themselves, they really should head to Oregon and try out their assisted suicide law to save themselves from their perceived dangers that exist only in their minds.

“Trump making a hand gesture that is increasingly being used as a white supremacist symbol”

This line intrigued me, so I did a search. They are talking about the A-OK sign. Now anyone who uses it or shows it being used is a “white supremacist”, and therefore OK to beat up. More dog whistles only leftists can hear.

Stop Eventbrite from fueling the new wave of hate groups!

I have a better idea - stop CBS from fueling the new wave of hate groups. CBS is airing obscene insults about the president of the United States on it's air with no consequences whatsoever - Colbert is still the air, no boycott is taking place against his sponsors, and CBS continues to act as if this unprecedented breach of broadcast standards and common decency is no big deal.

The 4chan/pol/acks started that as a bet to prove just how stupid the left is and how easy it is to get them to believe anything.

Next up, I think, will be the peace sign. 2 fingers up and spread, with the thumb tucked. The thumb tucked is a “G” for gender and the 2 fingers up means 2 only. So, the peace sign will mean you hate LBGTPwhatever.

So, when you hear someone wailing and gnashing their teeth over the evil fascist hand signs, you know you’re dealing with an outed idiot.

Richard Spencer is pretty damn well-educated for a "Nazi":

Spencer was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of ophthalmologist William B. Spencer and Sherry Spencer (née Dickenhorst). He grew up in Dallas, Texas. In 1997, he graduated from St. Mark's School of Texas. In 2001, Spencer received a B.A. with High Distinction in English Literature and Music from the University of Virginia and, in 2003, an M.A. in the Humanities from the University of Chicago. He spent the summer of 2005 and 2006 at the Vienna International Summer University. From 2005 to 2007, he was a doctoral student at Duke University studying modern European intellectual history, where he was a member of the Duke Conservative Union. His website says he left Duke "to pursue a life of thought-crime."
