Eventually well find out what really happened at the Heritage Foundation
Conservative champion Jim DeMint was ousted as president of the Heritage Foundation yesterday, a post the former Republican senator from South Carolina assumed in April 2013.
Newsweek reports DeMint wasnt fired as such. It nonsensically reports that Heritages board of trustees had unanimously voted for DeMint to resign from his role as president whatever that means and that DeMint obediently tendered his resignation after the vote.
Because you can be a conservative when your party if out of power and there is no chance to implement a conservative agenda.
When Republicans actually do have power, it’s time to kick out the conservatives.
A coup.
He and Heritage opposed the bill. They were right.
I seem to recall there was a big kerfluffal when DeMint left the Senate, but my senior moment impaired brain just cannot remember what it was...anyone?
