The Baikail 94 is much nicer than the Savage 24, and about the same price.
Having two triggers is a much better system than the clunky hammer mounted selector on the Savage 24.
The 94 also has a rail for scope mounting.
I have a couple in 12 gauge over 7X57 rimmed.
The rifle zero starts wandering after 3 rounds, but three rounds is usually enough when hunting big game.
