Socialism, which is what the hate group, known as the Democratic Party, supports, ALWAYS devolves into communism/totalitarianism/fascism or whatever disaster you choose to call it.

It did NOT inspire Americans.

It inspired a few freaks and traitors in places like NY City, that’s all.

The Bolsheviks called themselves Social Democrats. Communism always starts with the idea of equality, workers’ rights, and the benefit of a loving, all-powerful state to replace evil capitalism. Look at how Democrats refer to capitalism today. They’re filled with the same hate for it and want it destroyed (same as Hitler, btw), but as always they’ve nothing to replace it with other than communism.

I don’t see any significant difference between national socialism and soviet socialism. There are minor variations in packaging, but both are socialist systems where the government has nearly absolute power. The flaws of both systems come from totalitarianism, not from the superficial details. They both even targeted the Jews and wiped out very large numbers of their own people (as did Mao’s socialist utopia, and others). Somehow, progressive-communist-socialist-leftist-democrat journalists either cannot see the truth or are so lost in #FakeNews that they refuse to report the obvious.

And all these May Day marches across the country.
Bet none of the participants realize the significance vis a’vis communism.
And a lot of them would smile if they knew.

socialism has two primary appeals....
1. it can be dressed up to sound good (”helping people”)
....and
2. in times of great economic hardship (like the Great Depression or Obama’s Great Recession) people can look for whatever help they can find

of course, socialism also destroys the economy and jobs, so that it creates its own demand (item 2 above)

The Times has never rejected the Pulitzer Prize granted to its reporter, Walter Duranty, who in the 30s reported on the glories of the Soviet communist system and denied in the articles that he wrote that there was a famine in Ukraine (Stalin’s henchman deliberately starved eight million peasant families to death in Ukraine while Stalin exported Ukrainian grain). I remember being in Red Sqaure shortly after the fall of communism; you can see why Ethel Rosenberg’s brother, David Greenglass, when asked if he would be traded to Russia in return for an American spy and get out of prison early, replied why would I go there?? Its a dump.

Hey, sure, why not! We KNOW for DAMN SURE that the so called scumbag republican party is down for communism! My God people, we have been so very badly used and abused by these republican scum for so long. It is WAY past time to flush every last republican down the toilet of history. WAY past time.

New York Times: When communism inspired Americans

Yeah, I am inspired all right. Why can't we have a revolution so we can ship the people we don't like off to the gulag? /s

The movie Reds is one of these lapses into commie nostalgia. While it occasionally mentions some problems the movie is essentially a love letter to the American left and how they reacted to the bolshevik revolution.

It's important to remember that the NY Slimes absolutely LOVED Stalin. They actively hid Stalin's acts of brutality and starvation in The Ukraine.

The hippies of the ‘60s were sure inspired. I remember some starting communes to “live the good life” - fell apart quickly because they discovered that too many lazy deadbeat leeches made it untenable for the rest....

It inspired them so much that they had to change the moniker Communist because they were actually hated so much to what they are now known as Progressives

Keep this in mind as we approach Labor Day.

Labor Day is not a celebration of Joe Sixpack's work ethic. It's an homage to Communism.

Labor Day is the only "holiday" on which I do not fly the flag.

I'd like to see President Trump change the name of Labor Day to Free Enterprise Day.

THAT should cause mass aneurisms.
