Another "big win" for the GOP
Last week, Dan outlined the insanity of the Republican party’s apparent decision to let Democrats continue to run the federal show. At the time, the GOP was fretting about a possible government shutdown that could occur if Congress couldn’t agree on a spending plan. Since most congressional repubs are terrified of a real fight, you started to hear talk of concessions almost immediately.
Now, they’ve allegedly reached a deal that will fund the government through September, avoid a shutdown, and (you guessed it) give Democrats pretty much everything they want. For example:
They probably don't even have nukes and get paid to pretend they do.
Elections are 90 percent about money, maybe more.
So what stops them from dragging their feet for five months and doing this again. They figured out we have nobody willing to fight. This is how the game is played.
Trump has to veto this.

Trump will be in a stronger negotiating position in September. This CR gives Schumer a false sense of complacency while Trump can now eliminate many programs in the next real budget.

No it doesn’t; they’re still holding that card and bluffing Trump & the Congressional RINO leadership into abject submission. The current continuing resolution only goes through September 2017. So the ‘RATS will show that card again in September to get “our” side to submit to their demands.

Bull, Schumer looked Trump in the eye and Trump blinked. Now Schumer knows Trump will cave if enough pressure is applied. Mid terms will be a disaster for GOP when millions of disgusted voters stay home. With the Rats in charge you can forget a wall.

That is an urban legend. There is a similar amount for the border, but language was added that none of the funding could be used for the wall.
You realize, of course, that if the 2018 Budget contains the same BS this Omnibus Bill contains that Trump becomes a laughingstock and his Presidency an abject failure of historical proportion?
Not only will Trump be finished but so will America. We, and President Trump, have until the end of September.
I wouldn’t go that far, but the Democrats still control Congress because of how many Democrats in R jerseys there are.
