On Saturday, President Trump made headlines when he invited Rodrigo Duterte to the White House for a conversation about the current state of drugs. Duterte has earned a reputation as a harsh dictator, due to his habits of ordering the deaths of persons connected to drugs and narcotics. Many people dislike Duterte’s authoritarian style of leadership; it has been noted that his commands engendered the deaths of thousands of people with no link to drugs. Nonetheless, the Commander in Chief met with Duterte and the two powerful leaders discussed the manner in which the Philippines have been fighting to end the drug epidemic in their country.

Certainly no liberal when it comes to heroin and Meth, but roving bands of folks tend to kill quite a few innocents along the way>

I don’t believe in that non violent dealer BS.

Never met one who wouldn’t use violence without blinking, even if it was pot.

But killing junkies?

My big fat self may end up costing society a lot more money than any junkie. Maybe 100s of thousands if I dont lose the weight.

Are we going to start shooting fat people too :)

I’ll be an easy target!!

Make dealing a crime punishable be death. Not all, but set the guidelines and let the states kill em.

There is a chance there will be a pistol duel.

These guys could easily go from shaking hands to dueling.

And the rest of the short story in its entirety..

On Saturday, President Trump made headlines when he invited Rodrigo Duterte to the White House for a
conversation about the current state of drugs. Duterte has earned a reputation as a harsh dictator,
due to his habits of ordering the deaths of persons connected to drugs and narcotics. Many people
dislike Duterte’s authoritarian style of leadership; it has been noted that his commands engendered the
deaths of thousands of people with no link to drugs. Nonetheless, the Commander in Chief met with
Duterte and the two powerful leaders discussed the manner in which the Philippines have been fighting
to end the drug epidemic in their country.

Duterte may not be the warmest and fuzziest man on planet Earth, but the President’s decision to meet
with him was merited and will undoubtedly engender positive side effects, such as an amicable alliance
between America and the Philippines. Apparently, forging a union was a goal of Mr. Trump’s and was
discussed during his time with Duterte. During an official statement, the White House asserted that a
U.S.- Philippine alliance is “now headed in a very positive direction.” Many people have noted that
Duterte and President Trump share common characteristics.

America’s ability to unify with other countries is important. Our relationship with other nations
will impact foreign policy, immigration, and more. The goal of this country should be to increase our
number of allies, while decreasing our amount of foes. Both the United States and the Philippines
have work to do in regards to the alarming drug epidemic. A common interest should incentivize both
parties to work together, as demonstrated by Duterte and President Trump. Sometimes differences must
be put aside to secure the greater good for everyone

end of story.....

I think Rodrigo Duterte is the head of the Asian Summit where President Trump will be attending in about a month...so I’m sure this has something to do with N.Korea...
