Valor Global Services, a Scottsdale-based global technology company, is continuing its fast growth by hiring 120 in the next two quarters after growing with new tech partnerships.
Valor provides tech and call center support to tech companies, signing new partnerships with Cisco Systems Inc. in April 2016, WorldWide Technologies & Consulting in September and CenturyLink Inc. in 2015, said Valor founder and CEO Simer Mayo.
Cisco hired us to help them improve the service delivery to their customers, Mayo said. We consider ourselves a tech services company providing tech support and non tech support through call centers.
Tim Lake, Ciscos regional manager for the southwest states, said Valor has a unique ability to align people, processes and systems.
Often people will blame the technology, but there needs to be alignment between people, processes and technology, Lake said. Valor was able to provide that, and do so ahead of schedule.
Business challenges included reducing customer call times, improving the quality of customer experience and increasing staff job satisfaction.
Valor was able to reduce call waiting times from an average of 45 minutes to 28 seconds, reduce turnover from over 200 percent to 10 percent and increase employee utilization from 25 percent to 80 percent.
To keep up with the growth, Valor opened a new office in downtown Phoenix, at 16th and Monroe streets, with about 80 employees.
The company also opened an office at the IO Data Center with about 20 employees handling tech support.
The 100 hires have been in the past year, and the company expects to hire another 120 locally this year.
Open positions include tech pros, engineers, managers, service desk technicians, call center agents, supervisors and managers.
We grew over 40 percent last year, and weve already had 50 percent growth this year with new customers, Mayo said. The 1,000-employee company also has offices in Costa Rica and the Philippines, and opened a new office in Germany in March.
The German office is for customers in the European region, since several U.S. clients have customers in Europe.
All of the offices are open 24/7, except for the Costa Rica office.
Valor also provides bilingual Spanish services in Costa Rica and in Phoenix.
Our model is we have become an extension of the big tech companies, Mayo said. We build a partner channel providing support for their customers, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
The company works with more than 100 customers across the globe.
Were really helping companies solve their business tech and non technical problems, he said. Were small but were big enough to provide the enterprise solutions.
Phoenix with its large bilingual population is a great place to open a call center.
Exactly. It's 120 more tax payers paying into our infrastructure rebuilding, and 120 less draining funds from it. What's not to like?
Hiring “bilingual” only I bet.
