I live in the greater Fresno area and the city has decided to try and expand the program. the system currently covers only a 6 mile area with in Fresno. this system is great with sound they can even tell what direction the person shooting is going and how fast when there is multiple shots.
Multiple shots! I saw a report on this system 10 or 15 years ago and it could track HUNDREDS of shooters in a cityscape simultaneously, showing each trajectory in a different color. I’ve been wondering ever since why no one seemed to be using it. I’ve heard very little about it since then.
