If Democrats were smarter than Republicans they would hold the vast majority of political offices since the favorite position of Democrats is in control of the populace.
Intelligence is spread randomly and rather equally between the parties and independents. People don’t choose political party due to intelligence. They choose it based on their needs in their personal lives, their parentage and work history, or religious views. There are plenty of intelligent people on all political sides.

Just look at the democrats, for nearly all of them, the goal is to push liberalism, even when it is wildly unpopular...Many republicans don't care about pushing conservatism or if they want to, they are too afraid for losing their positions.
Of course it helps that the left has the media in their corner completely...That can't be overstated. Who knows what things would be like if that were not the case.

Those are all great things. But the only thing holding it together is trump. Because inspite of immense media pressure he has stiuck to most of the things he said he would do...If someone like GWB was president almost none of this would be happening even with the majorities in congress.
Also down the road if our immigration policies don;t change re LEGAL mimmigration as well-- we are going to be in for it. We are importing people who vote mostly democrat...Soon whites will be outnumbered what will happen then? Look at California, now majority Hispanic, and you can see.

In other words, the Left loves collectivism and lives it. The Right loves individualism and lives it. Collectives don’t have circular firing squads due to their hive mentality. Individuals frequently do because they think for themselves and struggle with compromise.
BTW one of the problems is that most republicans read the new york times and the washington post instead of looking at FR and listening to Limbaugh, Hannity and Tucker Carlson (and others like them).

The GOP should be working 14 -hour days, sunup to sundown, repealing decades of entrenched big government liberalism. Instead, we're drifting aimlessly, infighting, no Congressional leadership, and allowing the Democrats and MSM to beat us over the heads with sticks.
