The family and I went up to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in DC for the Easter Vigil Mass. I noticed in the brochure that the late Antonin Scalia's son Father Paul Scalia will be the celebrant for the Divine Mercy Sunday Mass at the Basilica this upcoming Sunday art 2 pm. The family and I went last year where Msgr. Charles Pope, whose writings are posted here, was the Celebrant.
Father Paul was my next door neighbor in Clark Hall at Holy Cross our freshman year. 1988. We shared a wall. A finer, classier, more genuine person you will never see. I love the guy. I hope to see him at our 25th reunion in June.
