I live in an apartment building-——and the mailroom is alwaysFULL of packages-——including mine.

Who needs the aggravation of going to a store where there is rarely anyone there to help you out.

Tell me about it. Walmart has deals, but try going to one of their stores and getting help finding them. That happened to me yesterday. It took me 10 minutes to flag down an associate. Then they had to page another associate to help me. And they were out of my size. Just awful.

I went to the mall once last year, right before Christmas. The girl scouts were there and I needed someone to wrap all the gifts I bought online. ☺

...rarely anyone there to help you out.

Just had this conversation with a friend of mine today.
He went to the PGA SuperStore yesterday.
He had a pocket full of money ready to spend on golf equipment.
Couldn't find anyone to help him take his money.
He said the place was short staffed and those that were working were helping "browsers" not buyers.

I have been seeing the explosion of "help wanted" signs.

I wonder if people just don't want to work retail anymore...
