It really ticked me off at the time, but the more I think about it, the more I think the talk about just moving on to tax reform after initial AHCA failure was probably a gambit by Trump and Ryan to make the Freedom Caucus understand: Look fellas, if we’re just going to let ObamaCare stay as is, then the tax reform you want isn’t going to be the tax reform you’ll get.

after the AHCA failed, spectacularly, the administration including Trump said, OK, you had your chance, now we’re moving to Tax Reform, which was actually smart. There was and is absolutely no sign that there’s a one single “thing” that everyone can agree on regarding Obamacare, so let’s do a tax cut, which everyone should want, and call it a day.
That seemed to make sense to me, but now they’re backtracking to O’care, where I still see no path even to House passage, much less getting the House and Senate to agree on something.
Trump said he wants to "do" healthcare first. I don't believe he used the word "repeal" as it says in the title.
Why should he care what the whiners on Wall St. want? They gave millions to Hillary and the Democrats to defeat him. Tough for him that he won. He owes them NOTHING.
It is NOT healthcare. It is health insurance. Really bugs me when we accept the Democrats talking points.

When the President was pushing for passage of the shit sandwich AHCA, it seemed to me that he was seeking a deal - any deal - regardless of the merits of the bill.
He then pivoted to tax reform, only to now pivot back to health care. My neck hurts, and my brain needs a reboot.
The Uniparty eunuchs have told him, no tax cuts until Obamacare is rearranged and repaired.

Except it’s not a repeal of Obamacare. It’s a repeal and replace of Obamacare.
Don't sweat it. He's going to change and it's going to be different in a couple of days or weeks anyway.
