Lets Look At The Operation Leading Up To And The Actual Strike On Syria – Things You Might Not Know.

We did not know that our Military had been preparing for this strike for a number of days, but we are now finding that this has been no impulsive action.

Our military prepared the coordinates for the missiles, as they have to be programmed. 59 tomahawk missiles were fired. The airbase was chosen as the target as there is intelligence that the Syrian military loaded a plane there which was used for the strike on the Syrian people.

They could actually see the flight path of the Syrian plane as it made its way to the strike point, and it is said the Russians actually knew they were dropping these chemical weapons. Unbelievable!

I think this intelligence needs to be talked about among the American people.

They do not think the Syrian military will not go any further with this, the US military is ready to go further with this operation if need be.

The neck cutters have used gas before in order to create a narrative.

We still have no business in Syria.

Here’s the crux of the problem: we can’t trust our government. The ‘powers that be’ never tell ‘we the people’ the whole story and oftentimes not even the real story. Subterfuge and deception are SOS. It’s unlikely we’ll ever really know who used the chemical weapons. I don’t want our country to ‘lead from behind’ anymore but I don’t want our country becoming the world’s policeman again either. There are atrocities being committed all over the world all the time. We can’t and shouldn’t try to militarily punish every tinpot leader that mistreat their people. We’ve got enough problems of our own. Let’s concentrate on fixing them.

Several articles on Facebook are reporting that the airport is already up and operational. This after they never reported the strike in the first place. I wish I could just dump it altogether but its a good way to see family.

You almost have to admire the shameless chutzpah of the Russians complaining about an alleged violation of sovereignty when Putin has waged aggressive war, seizing other countries’ territories, an offence for which men were hanged at Nuremberg.

You have nailed it. Little trust anymore because of all the lies.

But there is a big difference between enforcing existing agreements and being the policeman of the world to stop all atrocities everywhere.

There have been good reasons to ban the use of chemical weapons in warfare and it has worked pretty well for about a hundred years.

As for maintaining freedom of the seas and transportation around the world, who will do it if we do not?

We took over from Britain doing it, basically after WWII. We pretty much did it for our Hemisphere from the Monroe doctrine on.

Someone has to do it, or the whole world devolves into chaos. We may not be hurt as much as most, be we would still be hurt a great deal.

We started doing this about 1800 with war on the Barbary Pirates. It is not a new policy.

These Tomahawks are satellite guided and can be re-tasked in flight.

The Russians had a 1 hour warning.

The message was intended for the NORKS.

The congressional committees that needed to be notified....Armed Services, Intelligence were notified an hour after the attacks started fulfilling the War Powers Resolution requirement.

They are not solely satellite guided.

Please keep in mind that we know Assad is better than another Islamic state. He needed to be punished but not taken out.

Heard on fox that President Trump was given three options. Go after Assad, go after his troops or hit the airbase. He chose the latter.

Perhaps I’m wrong, but I thought the principal charge at Nuremberg was, “waging aggressive war.”

They are not solely satellite guided

Satellites guide the missile in the same fashion your car’s navigation system guides your trip.

Signals received from the GPS satellite constellation indicate the missiles current location and the targeting program directs it to a specific latitude/longitude.

Unless you’ve been a Strike Officer or a Weapons Officer on a US Guided Missile CG or DDG - I submit you don’t know what you’re talking about. Perhaps you should just STFU.
