Wouldn’t it be better to set a low minimum Federal baseline of required services, and let insurance companies sell across state lines to get some competition going? The states could have recommended guidelines, but those would come at an extra cost.

Wait. “Waivers” to free states implies that tyranny is still the accepted default. How about repeal that provision in its entirety, and let commie scum citizens in commie scum states buy the crap insurance if they can find an insurer who’ll sell it to them? Shouldn’t FREEDOM be the baseline assumption and stupidity and collectivism be the deviant behaviors?
