The Trump administration issued a stern warning to U.S. companies as they began applying for coveted skilled-worker visas Monday, cautioning that it would investigate and prosecute employers that overlook qualified American workers for the jobs.
The message came on the opening day of applications for American employers seeking visas known as H-1B, which are used mostly by technology companies to bring in programmers and other specialized workers from other countries.
“U.S. workers should not be placed in a disfavored status, and the department is wholeheartedly committed to investigating and vigorously prosecuting these claims,” Tom Wheeler, acting head of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, said in a statement....

this “American” companies hiring mostly foreigners for jobs that are here in USA...... is a serious, very very very serious problem for good, capable, qualified Americans who wish to find work

many SillyCon valley towns (and surrounding areas) are going to a Chinese majority population now (one big city is going Indian and there are significant areas of VietNamese population too) as so many
‘white Americans” cannot get work in “American” companies
note that more than half the companies in SillyCon Valley are now NOT American companies, too...but Chinese or others
but this problem includes (and began at) the “American” companies, some of which you’ve probably heard of....
They should fine abusers 1 million dollar an occurrence and force them to hire an American.
Winning! Now why can’t every US President behave this way to protect its citizens? Rhetorical question.
It’s not easy to get a real and decent American into the White House but thankfully it does happen. Just not often enough...
