Toledo Molding & Die is one of Fayetteville's newest manufacturers and they say they're expected to start production between mid-April and early May.
"It'll bring a lot of new people here, new chances," Toledo Molding & Die Employee Mike Nadolny said.
The plan manufacture's automotive products for many different car companies, and while they have 40 employees so far - they said project to have at least 175 relatively soon.
"For so many years, we've seen downsizing in the communities and its nice to come into a community where you can employ more people," Toledo Molding & Die Operations Manager Mallette Hedgepeth explained.
Mayor of Fayetteville Jonathan Law said he's excited for more job opportunities to come to the area as well.
"It's jobs, jobs, jobs - every community in the country is looking for more opportunity to employee people," Mayor Law said.
That opportunity is only expected to grow, the company said they are still expanding - which means nearly 400 jobs will become available.
"In 2018, we will double the size of the of our facility to be 250 thousand square feet," Hedgepeth said.
Nadolny said he's looking forward to seeing the community flourish.
"There's a lot of things the average person can do very well at here," Nadony said.
Fayetteville and Lincoln County is south-central Tennessee. Huntsville is just across the state line and so Fayetteville gets most of its media coverage from Huntsville.
Could you change it to “Tennessee” versus “Alabama” after the title?
Very frustrating.
Yesterday, I read a very long article on the potential Writers strike, which mostly affects Los Angeles.
Not one word about how much the writers get paid today, or how much they are striking for.
Does anyone wonder why this company isn’t expanding in, say, Toledo?
Having some familiarity with Toledo, I don’t.
I expect it is because the general mindset there is union-friendly socialist through and through.
