Headline disparages PC, but uses the term(s) alleged and allegedly many times. She was either raped or she wasn’t... Sheesh.
The use of “allegedly” isn’t PC, but a legal issue. For decades now, news writers have had to use that term unless and until a perp has been convicted of a crime. Otherwise, they could get sued for libel if that person is acquitted.
