The forecast for Obamacare premiums for the near future are to go up by 75%, and there are real people, sick people, average American people who will be hurt by this. Did anyone really care? I think President Trump did – that is why he tried to replace it.
CNN gets it wrong again:
“After a dramatic day on Capitol Hill, Ryan rushed from the White House to Capitol Hill to tell Trump he did not have the votes to pass the measure, the culmination of seven years of Republican efforts to eradicate President Barack Obama’s proudest domestic achievement.
As Ryan presented the dire vote totals in his meeting with Trump, he explicitly recommended the President pull the bill, according to a senior GOP official. The decision was ultimately Trump’s. Trump made the call at 3 p.m., as the rest of House leadership was gathering in Ryan’s office.
Ryan told fellow Republicans they are “moving on” from health care, Reps. Andy Barr and Bill Flores told CNN.
The decision to delay the vote marks an acute embarrassment for Trump, who had gambled big by presenting holdout House conservatives with a take-it-or-leave it ultimatum on Thursday night and put his own credibility on the line.”

Yeah, so that is the question of the moment:
What happens to Obamacare now?
What inflection points exist? When and why will it “collapse” as Trump says, or will it be death by 1000 paper cuts as more insurers drop out, rate increases continue, etc?
I called it two days ago:

2018 maximizes penalties.
2018 reduces number of Crony Insurance scam companies by another 40%.
Procedures, medicines, prosthetic devices, etc become liabilities and are drastically reduced as covered within plan and heck, deductibles might even go up.
Paying $600 a month for Health insurance and a $5,000 deductible?
Well, yer gonna love paying $750 and now the deductible is $10,000 or $12,500 depending on the plan you choose.
Oh! And you are wait listed because what you think is an emergency doesn’t qualify under your insurance plan.
Now you really have an out of pocket expense because the insurance company will deny coverage, you will still be paying $750 and have a $10,000 deductible....
You can use it next time but, you have to ask permission.”

One inflection point is that Obama was paying out 9 billion a year in subsidies unappropriated by the Congress.

There just wasn’t enough lipstick to make Ryancare not look like Obamacare.
Ryan never had any intention of repealing ACA. I doubt he intended this amendment to pass.
President Trump should now declare that NO ONE is exempt from Obamacare. Not Congress, not the Unions, not the Corporations.
If it does ever go to single payer, the public will find out just how important their life is to their Government. When yo are taxed to pay for everybody’s health care, the Government is much more ‘discerning’ about who it chooses to spend ‘IT’S’ money on. Is your life worth that kidney transplant you need at age 50?? I REALLY hope it doesn’t come to single payer. But if it does, Republicans should re-register as Independents, as no Republican will be getting much health care, will we?
There is nothing so bad and so screwed up that government interference can not and will not make worse.
The cure to obummercare would be for the government to repeal it and walk away from the idea that government can run the health care system.

Every year. That’s every damned year since Obamacare we were told it was a referendum on Obamacare and that cruel joke Justice Robert’s gave us.
Every year we voted and increased our numbers of Representatives and filled the coffers.
The theory being “The bigger your, the bigger wars you can win”.
Well, how’s that working?
Is there some secret strategy to make Ryancare fail to ensure some legislative future success?

The Democrats will blame all of the skyrocketing Obamacare costs on Trump ordering the IRS to stop collecting fines from those who refuse to participate on the Democrat “healthcare” scam. It’s as predictable as the sunrise.

I just saw a commercial, by them, touting all of the wonderful benefits of 0CommieCare.
Looks like an activist group.
Ironic that they have this commercial ready to roll, immediately after RyanCare fails.
