I hate to tell you this: John Koskinen is still the Commissioner of the IRS. Despite being nearly impeached for lying to congress and allowing a section of the IRS (headed by the infamous Lois Lerner) to target conservative taxpayers, Trump has allowed this sleaze bag to remain in office. So don’t expect him to fire Comey any time soon.
I’m beginning to think that the first 2-3 days of a President’s term can cause or eliminate a lot of heartache. Firing people now is very different than firing them along with many others within the first few days.
