Desperate Measures

Desperate Measures

For the sake of absurdity, suppose that I issue a nationwide injunction against all welfare payments because they violate fundamental American principles of self-reliance, personal responsibility, and limited government. Should our government immediately cease payments? Should it vow to appeal my ruling and to pass legislation limiting my authority? Of course not! A proper response is to laugh me out of the courtroom. Furthermore, if our government did appeal my “ruling” or pass legislation, then it would be validating my false authority and setting the precedent that some random citizen can override the duly elected Congress and president.

Nearly as absurd are the recent federal injunctions against President Trump’s executive orders on immigration. Seditious judges have ZERO authority to rewrite our Constitution and unquestionably clear legislation. The Framers deliberately required overwhelming support to amend our Constitution and would be aghast that we are letting judges effectively amend it at their whim. Yet, these judges outrageously claim nationwide veto power over our president (and the tsunami of American voters who elected him against seemingly insurmountable odds) in this most serious matter, which is not only so obviously within the president’s lawful power but also a common-sense campaign promise for which he was elected. Some might argue that this real scenario is much greyer than my initial absurd scenario. No. These judges and their co-conspirators are way out-of-bounds. This is not good-faith interpretation of uncertain rules. This is a treacherous power grab, attempting to muddy extremely clear rules. Appeals and new legislation will only legitimize this false authority and invite more of it. Domestic enemies are waging war on our country (whether we acknowledge it or not) and imposing their will through any means necessary. No matter what the rules are, our enemies will both break them and use them against us.

In normal times, a president should respect a healthy (limited) judiciary. If a president starts ignoring judicial orders, many Americans recognize the potential for a slow slide into tyranny. However, this is the crux of our enemies’ con. They may very well want President Trump to ignore the injunctions so that they can exploit our fears to impeach him on the pretense of tyranny. Yet, we must know that the true usurpers are the judges. President Trump would be merely defending the Constitution. With regard to his actual response, let’s leave the political calculations to him as he has persistently proven his shrewdness; it may be that he sees enough traitors within the Republican ranks to make impeachment a real risk. That said, I hope that President Trump, a genuine hero and champion for the American people, eventually feels empowered to ignore these absurdly lawless injunctions. To this end, we should put our representatives and senators on notice to defy them. Normally, I would condemn such a dangerous course of action. But you know what they say about desperate times…

We need to impeach some judges. Congress hasn’t excercised it’s authority for this in many decades.

That would require Democrat votes. They don’t impeach their fellow Communists.

I’ve said for years that our votes do not matter. The left are rabid hiteresque monsters that WILL support a final solution.

Worse than that, the electorate hasn't exercised SANITY in many decades.

It took 8 years of barkie and the threat of cankles (not to mention the boosches and jefferson blythe) to at least partially awaken us.

Able-bodied citizens who live on welfare should not be allowed to vote.
