I am acquainted with a number of Spanish speakers, most of whom I suspect are not here legally, but I do not know any who are not working, seeking work or willing to work.
I’d just as soon subsidize them as pay full freight for unwilling-to-work homegrown babymamas, hoodrats and methheads who are on the dole for the third or fourth generation!
I’d really prefer that all public assistance become a charity matter instead of a government function, but that ain’t gonna happen.
