It looks more like “no barrel” than short barrel to me.

Convenient to start your campfire with the horrendous muzzle flash.

Not meant to be practical.

Meant to be promotable!

The profit is in the clicks!

I know the barrel length increase accuracy, but I thought it also had an impact on overall speed & distance also.

Too long. Concealing this would be impossible. I want a ZERO inch barrel.

A bolt, a firing pin, a ring that holds the round in place, and off the round goes, in any of 180 degrees direction.

Ya gotta take chances in life.

I’d be very curious to see the “muzzle” velocity, there is no barrel length for the chamber pressure to impart velocity to the round. And, as noted, accuracy would not be a relevant term, either.

What is the spin on the bullet?

I'm thinking tumble more than spin...

What I REALLY want is a TWO DIMENSIONAL AR-15.

Height and width but no length.

You could keep it in your wallet and pull it out when needed.

“What is the spin on the bullet?”

It’s a knuckleball.

Short barrels are thought to be better in close quarters

Short barrels do not work well AR pattern rifles - the 14.5 M 4 barrel is about as short as you want to go for reliability . Using a longer length gas system is good idea even for the M4 barrel

You can go 10 in in 5.56 with guns like the SCAR but ballistic effectiveness drops off steeply

If you want short, go to an FN PS 90 which is optimized for short barrel performance, or go to a bull pup design us has the Israeli Tavor or Steyr AUG

Meh. I’d rather have a Heckler & Koch P90.

Use hspace=10 in your img tag

I've made suggestions to poster before. They are ignored.

Good thing it has a Pickatinny rail - if the guy wants to mount some optics for those 1000-yd shots they’ll snap right on.

Good satire sir. Actually legally that is a pistol and not a rifle and totally impractical.

Seems like a waste of the rounds. Almost no chance to get good rotation and wasting a major part of the powder.

At close range the target would get powder burns galore and blinded by the light at night. Funny gun but totally impractical.

There are close facsimiles of what you seek. They have pictures of Ben Franklin on them, and are only a few thousands of an inch thick each. People commonly keep several in their wallets. It only takes 5-10 of them to make an AR 15, but the conversion process is not instantaneous. Some find the delay inconvenient.

You have one of the good ones.
The old ones with the 22” barrel and the full length 18 round magazine are the ones I look for.
