All legal. It’s the system that has been manufactured.
About six or seven years ago...some chief of security for a California university retired (she was in mid-50s)...having a pay scale of around $240,000 a year. I think the pension level was near $175,000. They appointed the number two to fill the spot temporarily. Roughly a year goes by and he retires as well. At this point, they bring the retired gal back, and hire her once again at around $275,000...and she got to keep her pension check going as well (so well over $450,000 of state money going to her). All legal.
Not so sure kick backs are never recorded.
Gimme, gimme, gimme...sittin in the sun with your hand out.
He’s just working the system as it has always been intended to be worked.
Yep.
And the VA will fight a Veteran to the death over a nickel.
Why is he getting worker’s compensation benefits? Because he’s got a slick lawyer, and the State is not challenging it.
Any Occupational Physician could show this is not work related.
my recollection from many years past, is that Workers Unemployment Compensation was for a two year period max and then reevaluation - and the disability had to be work related. Bi-polarism was not covered.
