All the food we ate after Katrina was from the Salvation Army, the Baptists men and other church-related groups.
Where I was after Katrina, the National Guard was handing out Cajun MREs. Heat packs of jambalaya, gumbo, etc., with teensy little bottles of Tabasco. Well, I was impressed, anyway.
