I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Untrained hoplophobes are more of a danger to themselves and their own families than to anyone else. How do I know? Well, that’s what they have been telling everyone else all these years.

I hope you’re not seriously advocating that their Second Amendment rights be denied, just because their political views differ from yours. That sort of thing sounds awfully...progressive...to me.
