Long overdue, this hugely beneficial priority should not be forgotten.
One of the greatest failures of the Bush era, if not necessarily of George W. Bush himself, was the lack of action taken on oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Bush favored the move and was prepared to sign legislation allowing it, but even when Republicans controlled both the House and Senate, they were not able to get majorities in favor to pass a bill and to stop a promised Democrat filibuster.
We still put too much on oil exploration and not enough on natural gas.
LNG will become the fuel of choice.
LNG facilities is what we must develop and we shall truly MAGA.
What’s wrong with all of the above?
Rick Perry, new head of Dept. of Energy, could push this if he would. Problem is, it is Alaska not Texas. He probably only wants to promote things that will benefit his home state Texas.
Yes, all of the above will be required to make America energy independent, but there will be a greater demand for our LNG than for oil because of environmental concerns. LNG is a more acceptable fuel because it is clean burning properties and can be used in Power plants and automobiles, alike.
He probably only wants to promote things that will benefit his home state Texas.

I’m pretty sure his boss wants the USA to win ,, not just Texas..
Thanks, point well taken.
