WEST CHESTER TWP. A Butler County-based contract manufacturing firm plans to create about 220 jobs in the coming 18 months.
The move by TSS Technologies will more than double the companys workforce, which is divided between a West Chester-based assembly facility and a Woodlawn-based machining facility, according to Dennis Ross, the firms director of talent acquisition.
Of the 220 positions the company is looking to add, about 180 will be hourly positions and the remaining 40 will be salaried engineering positions, Ross said.
TSS Technologies supports supporting custom automation companies, systems integration and engineering, machining and contract manufacturing, he said.
The company is looking to hire processing, manufacturing, electro-mechanical engineers, plus purchasing agents, Ross said.
The family-owned and operated TSS Technologies has been in business for nearly 70 years. It opened its West Chester location in 2005, according to Ross.
There is no Butler County, GA.

There is no Butler County, GA. ....... Hmmmm (???), isn’t it near O’Hara County?
Just down the road from Tara.
Yep, this site is in Ohio. We wouldn’t know a twp or township if it smacked us in the rear. A Butler,GA is all we have and it is very small town.
Butler County Ohio just North of Cincinnati. It is from West Chester which sprang John Boehnor upon the nation.
Woodlawn is a Cincinnati neighborhood. Cincinnati and Hamilton County jumped the shark in November when all county-wide offices were taken by dems. This is one of the first of what will be many businesses fleeing the rapidly escalating taxes in Cincinnati/Hamilton County.
My hometown is on the slippery slope to Baltimore, then Detroit.
I got out while the getting was good.
Assuming this is Butler County Ohio. It is a Republican stronghold.
