The one state one vote is an unwritten rule. Rules have yet to be written, and will not be until a Convention is called.

Thus any discussion is just speculation at best. Just as this thread is speculation and only speculation. COS is going nowhere and there are huge amounts of money being spent in the vain attempt to get States on board to essentially undermine what Donald J. Trump will be doing to MAGA.

Proposing amendments to the Constitution, will not right the ship of state when the Congress itself is not paying sufficient attention to the Constitution, and the Supreme Court is acting as a Constitutional Convention on a daily basis.

Do your homework.

Unless you have been in attendence at events related to proposed Conventions, organized by COS and Assembly of State Legislatures, you might be speaking from the less educated position.

That said, I know folks on both sides of the issue who are true American Patriots, and I don’t question their motives, however there are an equal number on my side of the issue who are unwilling to open the Constitution to further meddling.

The recent election provides an avenue for change that does not put the Constitution at risk. I see the Convention movement putting Donald J. Trump’s administration at risk or watering down his agenda, so my suggestion is give MAGA a chance.

Somehow you are seeing “fears” in what you are reading. There are no fears at all, it is called reality. Those opposing a Convention, I believe outnumber those for. I am grateful that is the case.

The Constitution is not and has not ever been the problem. Thus the “problem” will not be addressed by proposing amendments to the Constitution.

You score a 100% on the reality test.

Article V convention of states is a wonderful way for we the people to add two things to the constitution, a balanced budget. Example, if the gubmint brings in two dollars, it may spend two dollars, no more. And term limits. Why not?

Apparently you have forgotton your oath.

...and being naive in regards to what is and is not risk to the Constitution is not smart either. A balanced budget isn’t going to fix what ails this country.
