ICYMI: VP Mike Pence rocks CPAC with excellent speech

A full-throated defense of conservatism, and a re-iteration of goals and objectives

We could debate the relative merits of CPAC all day. Is it a right-wing celebrity showcase? Yes. Is it a clique-y gathering of self-congratulation and self-promotion? Probably. But… Does it have a long history of great speakers and excellent speeches? Absolutely.

Vice President Mike Pence has addressed CPAC several times, but I suspect last night’s speech - his second major address since inauguration day - will be long remembered.

I was so looking forward to hearing Rush's take on Pence's speech and other goings-on at CPAC. Instead, he spends the whole first hour of his show ranting and raving about some stunt some Hillary flack pulled on attendees and some Fake News about President Trump politicizing The FIB.

It's sad when our biggest fish takes the bait, hook, line and sinker so eagerly. Sheesh.
