When I was taking my “gun class” the cop teaching it said that if you were going to shoot someone, be prepared to lose your weapon for a long time, as it will be held as evidence.

He suggested not carrying your $2,000 custom built 1911.

This is the way things SHOULD always go.

The Citizen is not the bad guy; he was living his life, minding his own business, when two thugs decided to intervene and cause him harm.

Both the Sheriff and the gun shop need to get about a hundred thousand letters of thank you’s, appreciation, and congrats for doing the right thing - from all over the Country.

They’re an example of what is good and decent amongst us.

Sort of needed a “feel good” story today, thanks for posting it, Marktwain.
