Mire Refections on the Oregon Standoff

The Oregon Standoff was led by a man described as 'charismatic' by those who had contact with him during the time of the protest and before it. Ammon Bundy said he took his stand to 'love thy neighbor'.....

Bundy cited Dr. Martin Luther King as an example for his protest. When he was arrested, no weapons were found on Bundy. He never carried a weapon during the protest.

When one reflects on the end of the Oregon Standoff and the days leading up to it one recalls the 'leadership' of David Fry, inspired by his relationship with LaVoy Finicum......

David communicated with Gavin Seim, an activist I've come to appreciate in the last year, a modern day "John the Baptist" stirring up a ruckus that may lead him down the same pathway the original one in the Good Book did.

Crazy people you say. Martin Luther King had 'crazy people' around him...

King himself had 'issues' like his patronizing of members of the world's 'oldest profession' (two at a time). But you know what makes Martin Luther King a great man in my humble opinion was his refusal to patronize members of what Ronald Reagan characterized as 'the second oldest profession in the world' that 'bears a close resemblance to the first.'

King gave politicians no quarter. He wanted more than speeches from them. His actions at Birmingham in the spring of 1963 changed the course of history...

John F. Kennedy's widow referred to MLK as a 'despicable man' who 'arranged for orgies' in an early 1964 recorded interview she was listing the enemies of her husband, those she suspected of being behind his death.

Ammon Bundy launched a protest in Oregon on January 2nd, 2016 that would be objected to... All Republican presidential candidates called for it to end.....

I wrote this piece over the course of several days starting last Saturday to remember the last days and hours of the Oregon Standoff involving David Fry and his videos along with the man he was in contact with, Gavin Seim.

The next protest if and when its needed should be a sober and sane one. I am a drunk who went through so much political activity-protests in the past not realizing that the Republican operatives, Democrat spies were hurting the causes I was involved in through their infiltration into them.

If a protest movement beyond the Uniparty political machine's control and manipulation can again spring forth like it did during the Oregon Standoff last year, our country and the world will move in a better direction.

Mr. Seim has been online in the last 24 hours through his Facebook page demanding some action from Washington (Donald Trump) on the matter of the many imprisoned, being prosecuted and persecuted over matters in Oregon like the Oregon Standoff and the Hammonds, the Bunkerville Standoff and beyond.

With Jeff Sessions now confirmed I see a window for these matters to be addressed and I expect action and if I don't see it, I (who voted Trump) will be disappointed.

The trial for the first defendants (six) in the Bunkerville-Bundy Ranch April 2014 standoff will hear its first testimony in Las Vegas today.

Next Tuesday, four defendants from the Oregon Standoff are scheduled to go on trial in Portland with jury selection getting underway.

I’ve been praying for this to reach President Trump and now AG Sessions.

Why excerpt your own material?
What stopped you from posting the whole thing?

Agree.

A Travesty and Federal over reach
That must be addressed.

I hate to clutter things up with all that material.

If folks want to read it in whole they can use the link.

The Oregon Standoff occurred because some ranchers who have been harassed by the BLM for years ended up being forced to serve sentences as terrorists-the Hammonds.

Don’t you think Donald Trump should help get these guys out?
He is being asked to do something about them by many folks including Judge Andrew Napolitano.

Mr. Trump should especially be caring about a prisoner in Nevada jailed over the 2014 Bunkerville Standoff, Jerry DeLemus. DeLemus was co-chair of Veterans for Trump in New Hampshire during the primary last year.

Also, maybe, “reflections” instead of “refections”. (The latter is a real word, though spell-check doesn’t think so.)
