Hi TG...

I don’t have any Glock tools, I started with the Sig platform and have stuck with it.

I am curious as I have read stories about Glock safety etc. mostly anecdotes but no real facts.

What do you think are the key items to be aware of with Glocks? I’m contemplating a G17 or G19, ya know, one of the CLASSIC Glocks to add to the collection...

Best,

G

i have a Glock 19, and i’ll never buy anything but a Glock again. Firepower, reliability, and the trigger reset are second to none. True, there is no external trigger safety, but that is what the gun is designed for, to be fired quickly in stressful situations. It’s a no nonsense weapon...if you are kind of afraid of guns, or like to fondle and constantly hold and fiddle around with a weapon, the Glock is not for you. The best safety is to keep your finger off the trigger..very simple.

It is always ‘cocked’

Never carry without it being in a holster designed for the glock.

You have to pull the trigger in order to disassemble it.
