Yeah, “alternate facts” made me cringe too. But maybe not for the same reason it made you cringe. I understand what Kellyanne Conway was trying to say in her exchange with Chuck Todd, and on substance she absolutely had the better of the argument. That’s why it’s so frustrating to see what happens when the Trump team gets into these shouting matches with blowhards like Todd. You use one ill-advised term - and yes, “alternate facts” was very ill-advised - and it takes all the focus off the fact that Todd’s position was indefensible.
Chuck Todd is a little confused about a whole lotta things.
So far no one has asked Spicer directly about the infamous Pic in the Briefing Room today

The term “alternate facts” or “alternative facts” simply means alternative points.
Nothing wrong with it.
All she was saying is that there are two sides to every story. The facts you cite do not include the facts I see. Now, that wasn’t so hard to understand was it?
I think Chuck Todd is confused about a lot of things...I wonder if he ‘sits’ on the toilet or ‘stands’ like a real man does???
Almost the entire briefing was dedicated to this crap.
So far, not a fan of Sean Spicer. I was hoping for another Ari.
The members of the media are devoted to liberalism. Facts don’t matter to them. They will spend the next 4 years trying to bring down Trump.
The issue at hand won’t matter. Whether the subject is jobs/economy, foreign policy, Muslim terror, energy policy, Supreme Court nominations, or anything else, the media will take a contrary skeptical view of things.

Period. Full stop.
There is no point in trying to explain complex realities to liberals. They obviously wouldn’t be liberals if they could comprehend such things.
Instead, our approach should be to remind them that they have just lost an election and that we have work to do, so could they just settle down, perhaps go to a safe place or have a group hug, sure a march or a demonstration in one of their city theme parks of dysfunction (that they totally control so why are they so god-awful?) because we really have more important things to do than to waste our time arguing about things that we already fully understand and they never could.

Something about Chuckie reminds me of the gopher in Caddyshack.
