And so the Muslim Brotherhood, the men who walk in Qutb’s hateful footsteps, invented the very tool that would be used to censor Harry McNevin. They popularized the accusation of Islamophobia. The followers of that bigot with the bulging eyes and the Hitler mustache found a way to silence an 83-year-old man and his yard sign. They did it with the complicity of the Coloradans whom Qutb hated.

Interested in something. That guys observations about life in Greely. Is that one essay, or was that gleaned from several of his writings. I
d like to read his observations of Americans. Id likely see it as a compliment, but I bet it would be a fun read.

Winston Churchill wrote several articles for Harpers Magazine about his prewar travels in America. Land of Corn and Lobsters was one. Super funny when he discussed prohibition.

He was in Greeley from 1948 to 1950. He was surrounded by the majesty of the Prairie and great plains. The front range was right there. A little over an hour and he could have been deep in the mountains having a picnic in the Aspens. He could have experienced mountains the inspire the soul. He could have found a nice steak dinner any day with steaks we can’t even get today. He had a scholarship and was freed from the worry of supporting himself.
Everyone treated him nice.

And this ingrate only bitched. Then he went home and tried to assassinate the president. He wound up at the end of a rope.

Rather than urge the removal of the sign, city officials should have announced that the man is within his rights and anyone who violates those rights will be prosecuted.

Real Americans would do this rather than cower.
